Some recent activities

Visit to the cells!
Luckily they didn't decide to lock us all up!
We went to the Old Brighton Police Cells. One of the tour guide was a retired copper so had some interesting info about old local cases. One of our U3A members used to work in CID as a Detective Sergeant!

Sussex history through Churches

Our most recent visit was to St Nicolas Church, Old Shoreham.  We had a fascinating tour of the grave yard and Church and learnt about the Russian connection with Shoreham before and after the first World War.

"Learning not Lonely"
The Third Age Trust have recently commissioned a report on the effect the U3A lifelong learning concept on the third age generation in the UK. To read the report, click here.

We would welcome contributions from any of our Groups (Leaders or members!)

Send us a report of your activities or news of your future plans and we will add them to our site.

If you have any comments, suggestions or ideas for improvement please send them to us by clicking here.
