Some recent activities

Visit to the Palace Pier
Our guide was the local historian, Jackie Marsh-Hobbs. She had so much knowledge and information.  It was a very interesting tour.   We were lucky with the weather though there were moments of a drizzle.

Sussex history through Churches

25 members of the Group visited

St Helen's Church in Hangleton.

The graveyard contains the grave of Dame Flora Robson's parents.

We followed our visit by coffee at Hangleton Manor just down the road.

Another visit to Veolia....
.... but with orange jackets this time!

Due to popular demand, a second visit was organised to the Veolia Recycling Centre at Newhaven.
Gardening Group annual outing

Members of the Gardening Group and friends visited RHS Wisley on 10th May.
We were lucky with the weather and everyone had an enjoyable day.

Gardening Group visit to Newtimber Place

17 of our members recently visited Newtimber Place.

The visit had special significance for 2 of our Group - for more about our visit and their story click here.
