Some recent activities

Gardening Group visit to Newtimber Place

17 of our members visited Newtimber Place this morning. The visit had special significance for 2 of our Group - for more about our visit and their story click here.

Sussex history through Churches

25 members of the Group have made their first Church visit.

We visited St. Peter's Church in Preston village and enjoyed an informative film and talk from Hazel. We learnt a lot about the Church and the old village

Shoreham Airport
We visited Brighton City Airport (better known to us as Shoreham Airport) and were given a fascinating tour of the airfield, hangers and museum. The gale force winds meant that there was not a lot of aircraft movement but at least it didn't rain!

"Learning not Lonely"
The Third Age Trust have recently commissioned a report on the effect the U3A lifelong learning concept on the third age generation in the UK. To read the report, click here.

2019 Holiday 30th May - 3rd June 2019

More names are needed if the holiday is to go ahead.

We would welcome contributions from any of our Groups (Leaders or members!)
