Thanksgiving/Memorial Service
For those members who knew Ailsa Hooper, there will be a Thanksgiving/Memorial Service for her life at 2:00p.m. on Saturday 9th February at All Saints Church.
All U3A members would be welcome to attend.

Gardening Group
Note that our annual Gardening Group lunch has been booked for Friday 15th March - one week later than our usual meeting.
This will be our only meeting in March.
Please bring your money along to the February meeting.

New year starts in February!
We will be working on 12th and 19th February from 9:30 - 12:30.

Where does our rubbish go?

We recently went on a couple of guided tours at the Veolia Recyling site at the Hollingdean Depot.  Both educational AND very interesting!  It made everyone aware of what happens to items that we put in our bins. It was an enjoyable session especially as we had to wear safety goggles, hard hats, etc.

"Learning not Lonely"
The Third Age Trust have recently commissioned a report on the effect the U3A lifelong learning concept on the third age generation in the UK. To read the report, click here.

2019 Holiday 30th May - 3rd June 2019
Our holiday in 2019 will be to the Ribble Valley area of Lancashire. For more information click here or on the Holidays & Outings link in the side bar or talk to Pamela.
